NJ Gyn Institute Office Policies


Appointments can be made by calling our office during normal business hours. Please be sure to bring your insurance card with you to all office visits. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your appointment you will be asked to reschedule. New patients who are being seen to review results or for surgery consults, please make sure to bring relevant records to your appointment, otherwise you will be asked to reschedule.

Obstetrical Patients

Unfortunately, the office does not accept OB transfers past 20 weeks gestation. New OB patients who have already been seen for the current pregnancy and are less than 20 weeks gestation: please make sure we receive your records for the current pregnancy before your visit. Be advised, you will have to have your records at the time of service, otherwise you will be asked to reschedule.

Laboratory Results

It is our office policy not to call with normal results. Our staff calls our patients with abnormal results. No news is good news. If you would like to know your results regardless, please call the office during regular hours 5 business days after blood work or specimen collection date. Patients can request to have online access to results through our patient portal.

After Hours & Emergency Care

If you are experiencing an emergency, dial 911 or head to the nearest emergency room. For all other calls, an on-call physician is available 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.

Prescription Renewals

Prescriptions are renewed during normal office hours. In some instances, we may require that the patient be seen in our office prior to medication renewal.


All office visits are payable at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, and most major credit cards and debit cards. Please contact our billing office should you have any financial questions or concerns.

Release of Medical Information

In order to obtain your medical records please complete a medical release form in our office or have one faxed over from your new doctor's office. A fee will be charged depending on the amount of pages in your chart. Alternatively, request for access your patient portal and you will be able to print your records from home at no cost to you.
